WHITE WINES

Allegro, 2006 — $20.00           Case Price:  $16.00

Allegro is an early-harvest blend of premium white varietals that is a study in contrasts and complexity. It has the wonderfully fruity nose of a Sauvignon Blanc; the light, airy crispness of a Pinot Grigio; the rich, creamy texture of a barrel-fermented Chardonnay; and the pleasing, lasting finish of the finest Viognier. This is a unique wine that is light enough to be used as an aperitif, yet pairs beautifully with a meal of white fish, chicken, or pork.

RED WINES

Grenache, 2003 (Private Reserve) —
$22.00           Case Price: $17.60

This is a French style red wine that was produced from different clones of 100% Grenache grapes.  The wine was aged in small oak barrels to produce a round and luscious varietal character.  This is a thoroughly enjoyable wine with a classic Grenache spice that pairs nicely with mildly-spiced white meats (pork or chicken).

Grenache, 2004 (Private Reserve)— $24.00          Case Price: $19.20

Our 2004 Grenache is an intriguing contrast to its older sibling, the 2003 Grenache. In 2004 we limited irrigation in the vineyard to stress the vines and concentrate the fruit. The resulting wine emphasizes the very soft nature of the grape. The wine is rich with fruit, yet retains the subtle hint of spice that makes it an unmistakably French Grenache. The wine was aged for 14 months in French and American oak.

Santé, 2003 —$20.00          Case Price: $16.00

Santé is an appropriate name for this wine, as it means "cheers" in French.  This wine was made from 70% Tempranillo and 30% Syrah and was aged in small French oak barrels for 14 months to produce a complex and well-balanced wine.  On the palate, the soft "red fruit" character of the Tempranillo is followed by the earthy rich finish of the Syrah.

Malbec, 2005 (Private Reserve) — $26.00          Case Price: $20.80

Malbec, one of France's historic "noble" grape varietals, is well-known in its native Bordeaux and in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Our Malbec has produced a wine that is rich and supple, with mouth-filling dark fruit flavors.

Zinfandel, 2004 (Private Reserve) — $26.00          Case Price: $20.80

This wine is a wonderful Zinfandel, with a spicy fruit nose, characteristic jammy berry and spice on the palate, and a pleasing hint of black pepper on the lingering finish. Our 2004 Zin is an excellent choice with lighter meat dishes, such as chicken or pork, as well as classic all-American fare such as cheeseburgers or pizza.

Cresendo, 2002 (Private Reserve) — $24.00          Case Price:  $19.20

Deep in color and richness, this 100% Petite Sirah wine is a fine representation of the Cresendo name, which we reserve for only the best vintages of Petite Sirah. In fact, this is only the second Cresendo we have ever released. This is a wine that proudly follows our legendary 1997 Cresendo.

Syrah, 2004 (Private Reserve) — $26.00          Case Price:  $20.80         SOLD OUT!

Syrah is a grape known or its intense fruit flavors; spicy, berry aromas; and long aging ability. This Syrah is phenomenal... definitely our best Syrah yet! The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels. Round and complex, this Syrah is a beautiful accompaniment to red meats, roasted chicken, and aged cheeses.

Maestro, 2002 (Private Reserve) — $26.00          Case Price:  $20.80

Maestro is a master composition of two great varietals, 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Nebbiolo.  It was aged in small oak barrels for over 14 months.  Our "flagship wine" for Belle Marie Winery, Maestro has intense dark fruit flavors with spicy and berry aromas and a nice smooth finish.  It drinks very well now, and will continue to age gracefully for years to come.

Bravo, 2000 (Private Reserve) — $24.00          Case Price: $19.20

Bravo is made from 80% Nebbiolo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, the same two grapes as in our Maestro, but in the opposite proportions.  The predominant Nebbiolo gives this wine rich earthy aromas and deep, ruby color.  The Cabernet Sauvignon lends balance and complexity, and rounds out the lingering finish. The wine was aged in small oak barrels for 14 months and is an excellent choice for char-grilled meats.

For the Sweeties

Rhapsody—Raspberry Sparkling Wine — $18.00          Case Price: $14.40

A wonderful sparking wine with a hint of raspberry.  Our Rhapsody is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, and is infused with natural raspberry extract for a wonderfully fruity nose and flavor. This is a very unique and special champagne to serve at your wedding, brunch, party, or just for YOU to enjoy.

Muscat Canelli, 2006 — $18.00          Case Price: $14.40

Our Muscat Canelli is a pleasantly sweet and complex wine, with the characteristic Muscat nose and flavor. It is a refreshing accompaniment to creamy cheeses, any spicy food, or simply enjoyed on its own. The grapes were hand-picked from our Estate Vineyards in the renowned Valle de Guadalupe on the Baja peninsula.

Apropos, 2005 — $18.00          Case Price: $14.40      SOLD OUT!

Apropos is made from 100% Grenache, one of the primary French varietals of the Rhone Valley that is known for producing the finest Rosés in the world.  A small amount of residual sugar has been retained during the fermentation to enhance the true varietal flavors.  Enjoy this slightly sweet and fruity wine by itself or with a variety of foods.
