These premium wines are crafted in the "Old World" style.

WHITE WINES

Paradiso, 2006 — $22.00          Case Price:  $17.60

In Italian, "Paradiso" means heaven or paradise.  Our Paradiso, a very unique field blend of three Italian white varietals --Arneis, Fiano, and Malvasia Bianco -- is our own version of heaven.  This aromatic, crisp, and complex white wine is truly one of a kind, with its subtle grassy nose that flows into a burst of crisp citrus fruit on the palate and a clean, lingering finish.  Paradiso is great paired with your favorite fish or elegant chicken dish.

ROSÉ WINES

Dry Rosé, 2006 — $22.00          Case Price:  $17.60

While largely unknown in America, Europeans have for years appreciated and enjoyed the refreshing nature of a fine, dry, rose wine. Our traditional dry rose is made from 100% Cabernet grapes. The juice was bled off the skins shortly after crush to produce the beautiful, natural peach-salmon hue. The wine has a rich fruit nose, bright flavors of wild berry, and undertones of orange and lemon rind. Our Dry Rose is surprisingly flexible: equally at home when enjoyed as an afternoon aperitif, as a pleasing salad accompaniment, or as a pairing to a variety of hearty dishes.

RED WINES

Late Harvest Primitivo, 2005 — $26.00          Case Price:  $20.80

Primitivo is the Italian clone of the Zinfandel grape. This wine is round, robust, and richly textured, with berry and spice flavors. Its fruity character makes it an excellent counterpart for spicy foods and hearty Italian dishes. The wine was aged in oak to lend balance and complexity.

Chateauneuf du Pape, 2004 — $26.00          Case Price:  $20.80

Our Chateauneuf du Pape is a classic blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes traditionally grown in France's Chateauneuf du Pape region outside of Avignon. This wine was aged in small oak barrels for two years.

Cabernet Sauvignon, 2002 — $26.00          Case Price:  $20.80

This wine represents a superb example of this proud varietal.  Aged for the first year in new American oak and the second year in French oak, this exciting wine is intense and full bodied.  While very approachable now, aging our Cabernet Sauvignon will yield wonderful rewards.

Super Tuscan, 2005 — $28.00          Case Price:  $22.40

Our Super Tuscan follows in the tradition of Italy's great Brunellos, with hearty tannin structure and rich, dark fruit character. Our Super Tuscan is a blend of two of the world's great varietals: 90% Brunello di Montalcino grapes and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The wine was aged in small French and American Oak Barrels for 14 months.

Cinq Diamante, 2002— $30.00          Case Price:  $24.00

Made from five of our finest grapes, this is a master blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Nebbiolo, 30% Grenache, 7% Malbec and 3% Syrah.  Cinq Diamante means “Five Diamond” in French, an appropriate name for one of the Chateau’s flagship wines.  The wine is full-bodied and rich flavored, and was aged in French and American Oak Barrels for 2 years.

Barolo, 2002— $32.00                 Case Price:  $25.60

Our Barolo is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, producing a superbly earthy wine, with hints of mineral and truffle.  This wine was aged for the first year in new American Oak and the second year in French Oak, further adding to the deep color and richness.  Barolo "screams" for a char-grilled steak or other red meats, but pairs equally well with boldly spiced Italian foods, especially if they include Portobello mushroom.
