The idea behind this wine was to blend four of the red varietals that we believe are among the best-suited wine grapes to thrive in the soil and micro-climate conditions of Escondido. We have so far been unsuccessful in finding them all locally, however, so have instead harvested them from some favorite vineyards in Northern California and brought them home to become wine.
This red blend is comprised of 30% Malbec, 30% Sangiovese, 20% Petite Syrah, and 20% Petit Verdot. It has 13.4% alcohol.
