Alicante is a French grape that is primarily used to add color to lighter reds wines. It thrives, however, in the long growing season of the  the Sierra Foothills, and can produce a wine with an exciting depth of flavor to match its color. 
 
This red wine is comprised of 88% Alicante, 8% Syrah, and 4% Barbera. It has 14.4% alcohol.
