Barbera is native to the Piedmont region of Italy. In the foothills of Amador County, it ripens fully, producing a bold wine with full flavors. The wine is balanced with nice acidity, tart cherry, and just a hint of toasted oak. 


This red wine is a blend of 80% Barbera and 20% Sangiovese.  It has 14.1% alcohol.
